For more than 45 years, the NKF has been a dedicated advocate for renal patients. What sets us apart is our unique status as the only national charity entirely run by kidney patients for kidney patients.

Our commitment to the kidney community is further demonstrated by operating the sole UK Helpline exclusively dedicated to patients and their families facing kidney conditions.

Life is not easy for kidney patients or for those who care for kidney patients. The NKF supports patients and carers practically, offering help and guidance. We also campaign tirelessly for improvements in renal healthcare provision throughout the United Kingdom.

These are just some of the many comments we received after people have used the services of the NKF…

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I really appreciate you explaining this and sending me the information, it has reduced my anxiety about having CKD 2.

Thank you for being there with your helpline for my husband. He was desperate to talk to someone who understood what he was going through and your advisor gave him time and encouragement. Thanks!

I just want to thank Linda for her calm, reassuring advice when I called the helpline. NKF provides a valuable service and deserves long-term support.

Please support us so that we can support them!
